DOWNLOAD YOUR FREE BOOK - THEOLOGY COURSE TWO ; JESUS THE YOUTH

Christians are called to preach the Word of God to the ends of the earth. The course handbook offers theology which enables the Christian to gain insight into the Bible and to reflect on the Word of God. Choose and study theology course modules at your own pace.

Jesus as Youth negotiated adolescence with grace and dignity. His example forms a blueprint for youth who wish to make steady decisions for a holy future. It is not easy being dedicated to the ways of God. There are many who laugh or place obstacles in the way. Yet God’s Grace abounds, and the example of Christ leaps from the pages of the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

Born poor, Jesus did not turn to theft. Helpless as small dependent, Jesus loved and obeyed. Refugee, Jesus did not rebel or hate. Returned exile, Jesus did not resent or disrespect. Under jurisdiction of parents, Jesus listened to wise counsel. Worshipper, Jesus prayed. Torah student, Jesus studied. Apprentice, Jesus learned and worked. Living in poverty, Jesus did not hurt, resort to violence, envy or kill. May we follow His luminous example.

May the words on the pages of this course handbook prove a signpost towards God through your witness. Please feel free to use and share this course gratis for any worthy purpose.

"THREE LITTLE SHEPHERDS MEET OUR LADY OF THE ROSARY"- THE STORY OF APPEARANCES IN FATIMA, PORTUGAL

The appearances of the Blessed Virgin in Fatima, Portugal are explained in this book by Dr Luky Whittle. The book is based on the autobiography of the shepherdess Lucia dos Santos, one of the three visionaries.

Three tiny shepherds herding their sheep were dumbfounded to see a beautiful Lady floating above a meter high holm oak who asked them to pray the rosary daily, make sacrifices for the conversion of sinners and to bring reparation to Our Lord Jesus Christ for the offences by which He is insulted.

The children were invited by the Lady to visit the area on the thirteenth day of every subsequent month, culminating in the 13th October meeting where a magnificent miracle of the sun was witnessed by - and attested to - by many thousands of people of various religious affiliations and persuasions.

To this day Fatima is the scene of pilgrimages totalling millions of visitors every year. In 2017, the clients of the Blessed Virgin rejoiced in the event of one hundred years of Marian love and devotion.

HOW TO BECOME A PRIEST

The hospital may be a good place to practise your counselling skills after you have done a good accredited training. Remember to gain all necessary permissions from authorities in any place you wish to minister.

Step 8: What is ordination? Ordination is the process whereby you commit yourself to the service of Jesus Christ in order to bring His good news to others as priest. This is a sacred calling; as we follow our sacred God. This means that we, as priests of God, must lead good lives.

LOVE LETTERS TO MARY THE VIRGIN, WRITTEN BY POETS OLD AND NEW - BY DR LUKY WHITTLE

LOVE LETTERS TO MARY THE VIRGIN

written by poets old and new

A COLLECTION OF MARIAN PRAISE POETRY

CLASSIFIED RESOURCE SUITABLOE

FOR USE IN MARIAN STUDIES

Dr Whittle gathered Marian poems stemming from the first millennium to the end of the nineteenth century during research. She used “A ring-Decorated Maiden” from the quill of Cynewulf as the Marian poem to represent the genre of Marian poetry as it appeared in the first millennium AD.

A number of mediaeval English lyrics in praise of Mary are included in this volume. One or two examples from the pen of more generally known later poets such as Robert Southwell, John Donne, Gerard Manley Hopkins and Patrick Kavanagh have likewise been incorporated.

Overall, however, the vast majority of the poems included in this collection were composed by often anonymous American nun-poets, mainly during the second quarter of the twentieth century. Further examples of their Marian poetry as well as that of many others may be found in the files of the Marian Library at Dayton Ohio.
